Peran Teknologi dalam Mempromosikan Pendidikan Islam di Era Digital

The digital age has transformed Islamic education, with technology playing a pivotal role in its enhancement. This study investigates how technology has positively influenced Islamic education, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges involved. Technology enables convenient access to Islamic educational materials through applications and e-learning platforms, thereby enhancing interactivity and inclusivity in learning. Moreover, it facilitates dynamic teacher-student interactions unrestricted by geographical boundaries, promoting a globally connected learning community.
However, significant challenges need to be addressed. Ensuring the effectiveness and accuracy of content is crucial, as the spread of misinformation can be harmful. Additionally, excessive technology use can lead to reduced face-to-face interaction and dependency on digital devices, disrupting holistic learning experiences. Therefore, thoughtful and well-planned strategies are necessary to integrate technology effectively into Islamic education, ensuring it enhances learning while upholding ethical and spiritual values.
This study concludes that, if managed well, technology has great potential to advance Islamic education in the digital era. By addressing the challenges and leveraging the opportunities, technology can enrich Islamic education, making it more accessible and relevant in today's rapidly evolving world.
