Abstract

Educational supervision plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of learning, particularly within the framework of Islamic education, which emphasizes the integration of spiritual values and moral character. The significance of ethics in supervision is becoming increasingly pertinent to ensure that education is not only technical but also in harmony with Islamic principles. This study aims to examine the concept of ethical supervision in Islamic education and analyze its impact on improving educational quality. The primary focus of this research is to investigate how Islamic values, such as sincerity (ikhlas), justice (adil), and trustworthiness (amanah) can be effectively practiced in supervision. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing literature analysis methods. Data were gathered from books, journal articles, and other relevant documents. A descriptive-analytical approach is employed to identify key themes related to ethical supervision in Islamic education. The study finds that ethical supervision grounded in sincerity, justice, and trustworthiness can significantly enhance the effectiveness of supervision. Approaches such as deliberation (musyawarah) and exemplary leadership (keteladanan) are also effective in fostering a supportive educational environment. Islamic supervision plays a crucial role in developing teacher competencies, improving the curriculum, and establishing an Islamic learning environment. The implementation of ethical Islamic supervision can enhance the effectiveness of educational oversight in Islamic contexts. These findings offer new insights into the integration of Islamic values into supervisory practices, thereby supporting the improvement of learning quality and establishing a foundation for further research in this area.
