Instructional leadership is one of the key factors in improving the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. This research aims to analyze the challenges of instructional leadership and improvement strategies that can be applied to face the dynamics of modern education. The methods used are case studies and qualitative analysis, with data obtained through literature studies, observations, and group discussions in several Islamic educational institutions. The research results show that the main challenges faced include limited resources and facilities, lack of teacher competence, and difficulties in integrating Islamic values with the national curriculum. The role of instructional leadership is crucial in developing teacher competency through continuous training, effective supervision, and strengthening collaboration with the community. Apart from that, using technology in the learning process is also a strategic solution to overcome limited facilities and improve the quality of teaching.
