Abstract

Instructional leadership is a form of school principal leadership that focuses on creating a productive work environment to optimally support the student learning process. This leadership model emphasizes achieving learning objectives through curriculum management, the learning process, evaluation, teacher development, and learning communities. In the context of Islamic education, instructional leadership plays a strategic role in shaping a generation of young people who are faithful, pious, intelligent, and of noble character. Three main aspects in this process include the implementation of the school's vision and mission based on Islamic values to improve students' academic and moral achievements, analysis and monitoring of learning to identify factors affecting learning outcomes, and the support and supervision of the school principal in facilitating academic and non-academic activities. Various theories such as Transformational, Transactional, Situational, Servant Leadership, Distributive Leadership, and Professional Learning support the implementation of instructional leadership. For example, the implementation at SMA IT Al-Auliya shows success through the synergy of a vision and mission based on Islamic values, technology-based learning analysis, and the development of teacher professionalism. This instructional leadership significantly contributes to the advancement of Islamic education, both academically and morally.
