Abstract

Liquor (abbreviated as miras), distilled beverage, or spirit is an alcoholic beverage containing ethanol produced by distilling (that is, concentrating via distillation) ethanol produced by fermenting grains, fruit, or vegetables. Examples of liquor are arrack, vodka, gin, baijiu, tequila, rum, whiskey, brandy and soju. Alcoholic drinks or sometimes abbreviated as Minol are drinks that contain ethanol. Ethanol is a psychoactive substance and its consumption causes loss of consciousness. In many countries, the sale of alcoholic beverages is limited to a certain number of people, generally people who have passed a certain age limit. In Indonesia, the definitions of "liquor" and "alcoholic drink" are mixed up and tend to be considered the same thing, so they also include non-distilled fermented beverages such as beer, palm wine, wine and cider. Example in the Anti Alcohol Bill that has been created since 2013. The term "hard liquor" (also means "liquor") is used in North America and India to distinguish distilled from undistilled (much lower alcohol content)
