Abstract

Fanaticism for art is a form of exaggerated exaltation of a work of art or a particular artist. This phenomenon can occur in various forms of art, such as music, dance, theatre, or visual arts. Art fanaticism is often shown by individuals or groups who have a great liking for certain works of art, so that they tend not to be objective in giving judgments and their tendency may be to rule out works of art or other artists. Art fanaticism can also be a complex phenomenon, because sometimes this fanaticism is triggered by cultural factors or certain group identities. This can have an impact on exclusivity and create gaps between groups, which in turn can be detrimental to the development of the arts as a whole. Although art fanaticism can have a positive impact, such as increasing appreciation and support for certain artists or works of art, it is also necessary to be aware of the negative effects on the development of the arts as a whole. Therefore, an objective and critical attitude in appreciating works of art needs to be maintained in order to create a healthy and inclusive arts environment.
