Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is a process of interaction between students and a learning environment that has been arranged by educators which is useful for fostering and nurturing in a systematic and planned manner in preparing students to know, understand, appreciate, believe and practice the teachings of the Islamic religion, accompanied by guidance to respect adherents. other religions in relation to inter-religious harmony to realize national unity and integrity through the basic teachings of hadith. The aim of this research is to determine the concept of Islamic education regarding early childhood education. The research method used is literature study. The findings show that Islamic education for early childhood is important in fostering a sense of seriousness and requires serious attention so that the characteristics of Islamic education for early childhood are of particular concern because early childhood are still vulnerable in playing so that character in determining appropriate learning is something that is important. good at paying attention to the lessons given to the child. In principle, the main points of education that must be given to children (the curriculum) are nothing other than the teachings of Islam itself. Islamic teachings can be broadly grouped into three, namely creed, worship and morals. Early Childhood Education Methods in the Islamic Education Perspective are 1) Methods by Example, 2) Education by training and practice, 3) Educating through games, songs and stories, 4) Educating by Targhib and Tarhib, 5) Praise and Flattery, 6 ) Instill good habits
