This scientific article aims to explore and understand the role of empathy in encouraging almsgiving attitudes in new students at Lambung Mangkurat University. This research uses qualitative methods with interview research techniques as the main data collection tool. The results of this study are expected to provide in-depth insight into how empathy affects the attitude of almsgiving in new students
