Early childhood education is based on Islamic teachings derived from the Qur'an and Hadith, especially on the obligation to learn for all Muslims, both children and adults. However, the aim is to preserve the child's nature so that they become fitrah souls in accordance with the teachings of Islam and lead them to a life that is pleasing to Allah, both in this world and in the Hereafter. The basic materials of Islamic teachings, such as knowing Allah, the Messenger, and his books, washing, learning to pray, learning to read the Qur'an, and learning good manners, are materials or curriculum that must be taught in early childhood. These materials are also useful for the development and life of children when they are young and mature. In Islamic education, the methods of early childhood education (ECE) are very diverse, including the methods of exemplification, practice and application, games, songs, stories, praise and flattery, and the application of good habitual behavior. According to the Islamic perspective, early childhood education (ECE) includes the principles of prioritizing the cultivation of aqidah, guiding and demanding the actualization of worship, building noble morals, and training independence. ECD also includes the principle of balance between the world and the hereafter, as well as the balance between knowledge and charity.
