KOMUNIKASI VIRTUAL DAN ETIKA BERMEDIA SOSIAL DALAM PERSPEKTIF ISLAM

Abstract

In the era of globalization as it is today, of course there is progress in information technology which is increasingly sophisticated and the delivery of messages and information quickly and practically through smartphones that are accessed by internet and social media networks. Social media is the main application used by the general public to carry out communication. However, in the use of social media, sometimes there are parties who do not use ethics in social media and use social media arbitrarily so that it leads to negative things. Many acts of moral and ethical deviation are challenges and threats in communicating, especially in communicating on social media. Even though adab and ethics in Islam are highly upheld in carrying out something either directly or through social media. This is done so that there is comfort in carrying out social life. Therefore as Muslims we must prioritize good ethics and manners in communicating both directly and on social media, because this has been regulated in the Qur'an and As-Sunnah.
