This study to explores the role of teachers in guiding religious values in young children in the city of Banjarmasin, which is predominantly Muslim. Teachers must understand religious values, teach using age-appropriate methods, and address the challenges of globalization and qualification requirements. It helps shape children's character and morals, strengthens their religious identity, and increases resistance to negative influences. These positive outcomes also influence society, creating a tolerant environment. Thus, religious education at an early age in Banjarmasin City is important in forming a young generation who understands religion well. Cooperation between teachers, parents and the community is needed to achieve this goal.
