HUBUNGAN PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN BERBASIS AGAMA ISLAM

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education and Citizenship Education have little in common in terms of their goals, namely instilling the values ​​of social and state life as well as noble character or morals. Apart from instilling noble morals, Citizenship Education also forms students so they can understand, practice and preserve the values ​​of Pancasila so that they become good and responsible citizens including the dimensions of civic knowledge, civic skills and civic values. Meanwhile, in Islamic religious education, for educational purposes in achieving and practicing norms or morals in daily life, namely through the process of ijtihad, the ulama develop Islamic religious education material at a more detailed level (Depdiknas, 2003: 2). Ahklak in Islamic religious education and citizenship education contain the same elements. This is in accordance with the religious nature of the Indonesian nation, so that Pancasila morals refer more to the set of values ​​that exist in religion. Thus, in terms of the material or study of the content, it is education that is equally oriented towards forming students and citizens who are good, have faith and are devoted to God Almighty in accordance with the constitution and philosophy of the Indonesian nation.
