The role of zakat in overcoming poverty is very significant, Zakat is an obligation for Muslims, in accordance with the Qur'anic command, to help each other. In this context, zakat has important moral, educational, social and economic dimensions. From a moral point of view, zakat aims to reduce greed and avarice, especially among the rich, and help cleanse their hearts and souls. In addition, zakat plays a role in education, teaching the importance of giving, giving and sharing wealth as a form of love for fellow human beings. In the social aspect, zakat and sadaqah help the poor to be more involved in community life, so that they feel included and valued, rather than marginalized. This promotes strong social solidarity. From an economic perspective, zakat helps prevent the accumulation of wealth in the hands of a small number of wealthy people, and obliges them to redistribute their wealth to needy groups in society, so it is also a potential source of funds to reduce poverty. In addition, zakat can be used as working capital by the poor to create jobs, helping them to earn income and fulfill their daily needs. Sadaqah and zakat are also considered part of spiritual obligations, which help people who are able to act in accordance with their religious teachings and help them feel connected to Allah.
