Economic development is the most important component in economic strategy, because economic development is one of the indicators of increasing public welfare. Any economic system in the world has the ultimate goal of creating a prosperous, just and equitable life. One of them is through economic development. The results showed that the concept of Islamic economic development is the most just and comprehensive development. Which includes Tawhid, Khilafah and Justice. Islamic economic development should prioritize several important objectives; Growth is accompanied by a full workforce, economic stability, distributive justice and concern for nature. It found several indicators of economic development, objects and subjects of development, the role of government and society. The concept of economic development in Islam is the concept of economic development based on the principles of sharia, which comes from the Quran and as-Sunnah, with the awareness that the success of development must be accompanied by the application of development concepts. classical and modern, and learn from the experience of countries that have succeeded in carrying out development efforts.
