PRINSIP DASAR AKHLAK TERHADAP PEMBANGUNAN EKONOMI DALAM ISLAM

Abstract

The basic principle of morals in Islamic economic development itself is reflected in the economic concept of iktishad which means seriousness in the sense of providing opportunities for the development of Islamic thought in sustainable economic development. Islamic economic development is very important in establishing Islamic morals and values as the goal of economic education. Economic development involves economic growth through social cooperation to produce economic development based on moral principles consistent with Islam.  According to Yusuf, the goal of economic development in Islam is a good life (al-hayat), as stated in the Qur'an, "Waman Yamar Salihan Min Zakarin Aw Unsha Faranuhyannu Hayatan Tayyiba."・At-Taiyiba). The majority of Islamic economic writers understand the concept of economic development from some verses of the Quran, such as: "Huwallazî ansya'akum fi al-ard wasta'marakum fîha" (Q.S. Hud, 61). This verse has two meanings related to economic development. First is the importance of al-Ujub, or the obligation of mankind to preserve the earth for agriculture and development. Second, this verse contains God's command to mankind to develop the universe. God's command is binding and absolute. The majority of authors argue that the word al-imarah (prosperity) is the same as the word atanmiyya al-iktisadiya (economic development).
