Konsep Gaya Gravitasi Dalam Sudut Pandang Al-Qur’an Pada Surat Al-Hajj Ayat 65

Abstract

This research aims to find out the gravitational force from a scientific point of view. The research objectives are detailed as follows: 1) the force of attraction (gravity) from the point of view of the Quran, 2) knowledge of the application of the force of attraction (gravity), 3) from the point of view of the science of the Quran and physics lessons in high school all activities to obtain new knowledge and develop science and technology are activities of exploration, investigation, or experiments that occur naturally in a particular field, to obtain new facts or principles with the aim of improving science and technology. Through a literature review, we found similarities between physicists' explanations and the Qur'anic explanation of gravity. Gravity is a natural law of His creation that we contemplate and are grateful for. On the other hand, there is a very harmonious relationship between the theory of gravity proposed by scientists and the explanation in the Qur'an, but some are not explained in detail in the Qur'an but only explained in outline. In Surah Al-Hajj verse 65, Allah mentions the concept of gravity by describing His power and authority in creating the universe. The verse states that Allah is the one who keeps the heavens from falling to the earth except with His permission. This shows that the gravitational force that keeps the heavenly bodies in place is part of Allah's almighty power.
