Konsep Relativitas Ruang dan Waktu dalam Al-Qur'an

This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the concept of time and space relativity in Einstein's theory of relativity, as viewed through the lens of the Qur'an. Employing the method of library research, both directly and indirectly related books are scrutinized and analyzed. Deductive and inductive thinking techniques are employed in explaining the theory. In the analysis, a comparative technique is utilized, which involves comparing scientific concepts with Qur'anic concepts related to the concept of time and space relativity in general. The analysis results indicate that the concept of time and space relativity in this context is defined as the relativity of time/time dilation in Einstein's special theory of relativity. The existence of a stationary reference frame is the main cause of the relativity of time measurement, as implied by the comparison results of interpretations by commentators of Q.S Al-Ma’ârij verse 4 regarding the concept of time velocity, in the exegesis of Al-Maraghi, Al-Azhar, and Al-Misbah. If a moving reference frame is relative to another stationary reference frame, then the time experienced by someone in the moving frame will differ from the time in the stationary frame. However, this only applies if the motion approaches the speed of light.
