Pengaruh Pendidikan Agama Islam terhadap Perilaku Positif Siswa di Sekolah

Abstract

Islamic religious education plays an important role in shaping the character of students at school, through personality development, understanding ethics and morals, as well as developing the spiritual dimension. Although some respondents felt  that its influence was still insufficient in influencing students' positive behavior, Islamic religious education has great potential in creating a positive school environment and forming good student character. Awareness of the importance of religious teachings in daily life increased, with most respondents feeling better after attending Islamic religious lessons and assessing the importance of applying these teachings in daily interactions. It is necessary to continue to improve the empowerment of Islamic religious education in order to achieve national education goals in forming individuals who are faithful, devout, have noble character and are responsible. This research uses a quantitative survey method to explore the relationship between Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and the formation of noble morals in students. By involving 50 respondents, a survey was conducted to assess the frequency of participation in PAI lessons, the influence of PAI on student attitudes and behavior, as well as perceptions of the effectiveness of PAI in reducing negative behavior. The results show that PAI has an important role in shaping student character and encouraging positive behavior in the school environment.
