PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI TERHADAP PENINGKATKAN PRAKTIK TADARUS AL-QUR’AN DI SDN SUNGAI JINGAH 4 BANJARMASIN

This research was motivated by the low level of ability to recite Al-Qur'an in Islamic religious education subjects for fifth grade students at SDN Sungai Jingah 4. The aim of this research was to determine the application of the demonstration method to improve the ability to practice Tadarus Al-Qur'an for students in SDN Sungai Jingah 4. The subjects in this classroom action research were class V students of SDN Sungai Jingah 4. The data collection techniques used were observation, test methods and demonstration methods. This research was carried out in three cycles, each cycle was carried out with one meeting. The results of this research show that the demonstration training method can improve the ability to practice reciting the Qur'an properly and correctly. In cycle I it increased with an average of 59.5%, in cycle II there was an increase with an average of 79.5% and in cycle III there was an increase with an average of 85%.
