ANALISIS KONFORMITAS SHOPEE PAYLATER DENGAN PRINSIP-PRINSIP EKONOMI ISLAM DALAM MANAJEMEN KEUANGAN

This research aims to evaluate Shopee paylater conformity with sharia economic principles and their implications in financial management. Shopee paylater is a financial product in the e-commerce industry that allows online purchases with financing within a certain period. However, in the context of sharia economics, it is necessary to question whether this product is in accordance with Islamic principles, especially regarding the prohibition of usury and ambiguity in transactions. The research uses a literature study method to explore literature related to financial management, sharia economic principles, and Shopee paylater practices. The results of data analysis show that Shopee paylater is not fully compliant with sharia economic principles, with potential problems such as usury and hidden costs. This article also proposes an alternative in the form of using an ijarah contract as a solution that is more in line with sharia principles. In conclusion, Shopee paylater, even though it provides convenience in online shopping, needs further attention to ensure that it complies with sharia economic principles in the ever-growing digital era.
