PENTINGNYA PEMAHAMAN DAN IMPLEMENTASI MODERASI BERAGAM DALAM PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Islamic religious education is also a learning tool to form moderate attitudes and behavior in religious matters. Contains lessons about tolerance, multiculturalism and differences in understanding in religious contexts, which are important content tools for Islamic Religious Education. Ideally, this also applies to Islamic religious education learning which is closely related to the internalization of religious moderation. Integrating religious moderation into Islamic religious education can be done through several strategies, namely strengthening moderation, programming and learning models. These three strategies are interrelated with each other in developing policies to implement increased moderation in the context of Islamic Religious Education. The policy of the Directorate of Islamic Religious Education of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in achieving moderation is considered important in moving towards integration to form peaceful attitudes and behavior supported by moderate religious understanding. Apart from that, religious moderation can also be applied in religious extracurricular activities.
