Abstract

Stress is a mental disorder which is our physical and emotional reaction when facing a situation that causes pressure. This pressure arises from the failure of the individual in meeting their needs or desires. Stress can be experienced by any individual without knowing the socio-economic background. Stress is triggered by internal and external factors. Since it can cause the destruction of individual lives, Islam provides solutions to deal with it. For Muslims, having a strong religious nature will support the effectiveness of implementing solutions from Islam in dealing with stress. The solution from Islam is the process of providing assistance to individuals so that they are able to live in harmony with the provisions and instructions of Allah, so that they can achieve the happiness of life in this world and in the hereafter in several ways including by praying well, remembering Allah, praying humbly, and reading the Al-Quran. This article was written to help deal with stress from an Islamic perspective which of course every individual has experienced stress. The method in writing this article is literature review and observation.
