ANALISIS PENGARUH KONTEN DAKWAH DI SOSIAL MEDIA TERHADAP KEJIWAAN GEN-Z

Abstract

Social media is a trend among gen-z. There are many kinds of content that can be enjoyed on social media, one of which is da'wah content. Da'wah in the current era is faced with various challenges and problems that are increasingly complex. If not, the flow of da'wah will slow down and lag behind. Islamic preaching starts from the easiest and normative things until it develops this era by using various ways, methods and media in carrying out preaching such as preaching content on social media. History records that the media of da'wah through art and culture is very effective and feels significant in terms of implementing Islamic ideology. This article aims to find out how much a person needs social media and how effective the influence of da'wah content is on the psychology of new students. In this study we used qualitative methods and data collection techniques using interviews and surveys through google forms distributed to new students. Direct interviews were conducted with 3 new students. The results of this study reveal that millennials or gen-z are motivated by da'wah content, because it is in accordance with the development of the digital age. Da'wah content through social media must also be reproduced and developed in order to spread the teachings of Islam, to open up opportunities for other people to learn Islam.
