Abstract

This research is motivated by observational data that we conducted at McDonald's Pangeran Antarasi located in Sungai Baru, Central Banjarmasin, Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan. It shows a very low level of customer awareness regarding prayer times. We also interviewed several internal parties of McDonald's, including the staff and Assistant Manager. The objectives of this research include: Understanding the level of customer awareness regarding prayer times. Understanding the standard operating procedures for prayer times for internal McDonald's employees.

          This research was conducted on September 23, 2023, driven by our curiosity about the awareness of prayer times at McDonald's. The research results indicate a lack of customer awareness regarding prayer times at McDonald's, although McDonald's still provides a place for worship, namely a prayer room (musholla).
