Abstract

Health is an aspect of life that is important to pay attention to. This health aspect is discussed, one of the ways, in the rules of the Islamic religion as a guide for Muslims in living their lives. In Islamic law there are various views regarding organ transplantation. Differences in opinion regarding organ transplantation are divided into opinions that allow and opinions that prohibit the practice of organ transplantation. Organ transplantation or also known as organ grafting is a medical procedure or operation carried out for patients with conditions that have diseases that seriously interfere with the functioning of organs. Organ transplantation is carried out by moving organs or tissue from one part to another. The organ transplant procedure involves several parties, namely organ donors, organ recipients, as well as doctors who practice organ transplantation. If we look at ethics in the medical field, organ transplants must be carried out in accordance with the applicable ethos rules. Organ transplantation must be carried out with consideration of all parties involved and how organ transplantation practices affect those parties. In the Islamic view, organ transplantation is permitted on condition that it is not given dharar (danger) on the parties involved
