Family and socialization environment are the two main components responsible for the moral decay of a child. Moral education is very important to build the nation's young generation to have good educational principles in society, especially in schools. In Indonesia, cases of misconduct such as corruption, bullying, and drug abuse are common, reflecting the low morals, manners, and character of the nation. The government, through the Ministry of Education, responded by designing a character education model to systematically improve these values. The first step is to include character values in the curriculum at educational institutions. Teachers are key to the successful implementation of character education as they interact directly with students. Teachers must prepare learning tools and implement character education in the classroom. Character education must be integrated with family education, school education and community education.
