Pengaruh Toilet Jongkok guna Buang Hajat sesuai Sunah Rasulullah terhadap Penyakit Hemoroid

This research aims to analyze the relationship between toilet style and the potential occurrence of hemorrhoids, as well as its relevance to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. The research method employed is a literature study to obtain and analyze information related to this topic. The primary findings of the study indicate that the squat toilet style, as a natural human position, has been proven to reduce the risk of hemorrhoid disease. In contrast, the sitting toilet position obstructs the excretion of feces from the body, resulting in a higher risk of digestive system diseases. This demonstrates how the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad to squat during defecation bring not only spiritual rewards but also serve as a means to enhance human health. Therefore, this research suggests the modernization of squat toilets in Indonesia to change the public perception of squat toilets or offers an alternative solution, such as the SquatEase toilet innovation from India and the addition of benches to sitting toilets.
