This article discusses the role of religion in shaping people's social identity. Social identity is an important aspect of people's lives, and religion has a significant influence in shaping this identity. In this article, we will explain how religion is a source of values, norms and social practices that shape the identity of individuals and groups in society. Apart from that, the role of religion in forming social solidarity and national identity will also be discussed. Through a deep understanding of the role of religion in shaping social identity, it is hoped that it can provide new insights in understanding the social dynamics of soc.
