THE POSITION AND ROLE OF TEACHERS AND LEARNERS IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION

The responsibility of a teacher is not only limited to his profession, but there are other responsibilities in the field of humanity and society. In Islam, the position of the teacher is very noble. The teacher is tasked with applying the knowledge he has to everyone, basically the teacher gets the mandate to invite everyone to come closer and worship only Allah SWT. Students are beings who need guidance and direction to gain knowledge and form character based on Islamic teachings. Therefore, there is a need for further discussion and research in order to deepen and provide knowledge and insight regarding the position and role of teachers and students, especially in the view of Islam. The method used in this research is library research which includes a systematic description of the literature review as well as the results of previous research by researchers who have a match between the research results of the researchers and the problem to be studied
