PERAN KEAGAMAAN ISLAM DALAM MENGURANGI KEMISKINAN DAN MENINGKATKAN PEREKONOMIAN

Abstract

The aim of this research is to collect, analyze, make interpretations and generalizes regarding the role of Islamic religion in reducing poverty and improving the economy. The data used in this research is qualitative data that is related and relevant to the research topic in the form of literature, scientific journal articles, textbooks and scientific papers. The data collection technique used by the author in this research is literature study. The results of the discussion on the role of Islamic religion in reducing poverty and improving the economy are collected in a synthesis which divides the subject of poverty reduction into three, namely Government, Society and Individuals. There are conditions that must be met so that the role of Islam in reducing poverty and improving the economy can become a concrete and effective solution to overcome the problem of poverty, namely: (1) poverty reduction carried out in Islam must all go hand in hand with spiritual efforts. (2) To reduce poverty in an Islamic economy, it must be based on ukhuwah Islamiyah. Apart from that, in general it can be said that the role of Islam in reducing poverty and improving the economy is relevant to reducing poverty in Indonesia. For applied research related to Islamic religion in reducing poverty and improving the economy that will be carried out in the future, it is likely to carry out testing and development of this concept.
