The existence of halal food is viewed as an obligation for the Muslim community. With rapidly advancing technology, a multitude of food products circulate in our surroundings. Muslims are advised to remain vigilant and attentive to the food they consume. This research employs a combined method of qualitative approach and interview method as the primary strategy to gain a deeper understanding of halal food habits and their impact on the health of the Muslim community in the Public Health context at Lambung Mangkurat University. The significance of this research lies in the context of Muslim public health, involving students studying in an environment reflecting cultural and religious diversity. Data collection is carried out through a series of interviews with Public Health students at Lambung Mangkurat University over one week. The research location involves the university campus and places related to students' daily activities, ensuring broad representation of the population. The data analysis reveals that Public Health students at Lambung Mangkurat University exhibit a high level of compliance with halal food habits. This compliance positively correlates with physical health conditions, aligning with nutrition principles and holistic health approaches. Halal food habits serve as an expression of religious devotion and contribute to the health of the Muslim community, especially in academic settings.
