PENGARUH PEMBERLAKUAN EKONOMI ISLAM TERHADAP TINGKAT PERSENTASE BUNGA BANK

Abstract

This research, titled “The Influence of the Implementation of Islamic Economy on the Percentage of Bank Interest Rates” is based on the background where interest in conventional banks has become commonplace in life, even though it is clear that interest, which is inherently usury, is prohibited by Allah SWT through the holy book of the Qur'an. This study provides a detailed explanation of the impact on banks if Islamic economics is applied. Islamic economics is a system and economic concept that refers to Islamic principles, so in the implementation of this economic system, economic activities and Islamic regulations found in the Qur'an are integrated. In Islamic economics, usury (interest) is prohibited, emphasizing a balance between profit and social responsibility. Bank interest is a cost that banks must provide to customers for the storage of assets. Bank interest is provided over a specified period, whether monthly or annually. To avoid usury, Islamic banks have emerged as an alternative, using a deposit and profit-sharing system to ensure that Muslims engage in economic activities in accordance with Islamic law. This is a solution that can be applied in the modern era, specifically in daily life.
