Abstract

. This study aims to identify and analyze the benefits of fasting in children's brain development. This research focuses on parents' strategies in providing an introduction to the concept of fasting and its benefits to children's brain development (intelligence). This research also aims to understand how the general public views the habituation of fasting in early childhood. This research uses descriptive qualitative data collection techniques through literature studies of existing sources and analyzing the results of previous research. The selected articles were obtained by searching for keywords such as "fasting", "child development", and "benefits of fasting". The collected articles were thematically analyzed to identify patterns, themes, and implications of the benefits of fasting on children's brain development. The results showed that introducing the concept of fasting to children has significant benefits. Fasting physically has tremendous benefits. In addition, fasting can also provide peace of mind, affect psychological well-being, and provide a closer bond with the Creator.
