Islamic religious education holds significant implications in the context of economic development. Within the field of economics, the integration of Islamic values can provide a strong ethical foundation for sustainable and equitable economic practices. This research aims to explore the role and impact of Islamic religious education in shaping the economic perspectives of students and practitioners in the field of economic development. Through literature analysis and field research, we identify the contributions of Islamic religious education to sustainable economic development, Shariah-compliant entrepreneurship, and the application of moral values in economic practices. This study offers deep insights into how Islamic religious education can influence economic paradigms within the context of the economics discipline, fostering the emergence of a generation of economically responsible and ethical leaders.
