Mathematics is a science integral to its history, with many Muslim figures such as Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi and Thabit ibn Qurra playing a major role in its development. Their works motivated other scientists to study and develop mathematics into something more complex. It is important for students and educators to understand their backgrounds and contributions to the history of mathematics. Maths is important in everyday life and is taught from an early age, used in various fields of life, and its connection with many other sciences highlights its relevance. In the history of Islam, mathematics developed since the revelation of the Quran, which invites its people to study it for worship and other needs. Qualitative literature research is used in this journal to explore the evolution of mathematics in Islamic civilisation
