Abstract

Green economy and the implementation of Sharia Economy through Maqashid Syariah have synergy in sustainable development. In the Green Economy perspective, sharia economics has an important role in sustainable development, which includes social principles and Islamic business ethics, the principles of environmental preservation and reducing social problems, the principles of sustainable development, and the principles of falah which include protecting religion, preserving the soul, protecting the mind, protecting offspring, and maintenance of property. Sharia economics has great potential both at global and world levels. The existence of a master plan is one of the real efforts to strengthen the sharia financial industry. The aim is for the growth of the sharia financial sector to have a direct and significant impact on growth in the real sector which is fundamentally the main focus in the sharia economic system. Sustainable development is a very important goal in global economic development today. Sustainable development is defined as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations. In an economic context, this can be achieved by ensuring sustainable economic growth, a sustainable environment and sustainable social welfare. Sustainable economic growth is growth that can continue in the long term, without damaging the environment and natural resources. In this case, sharia economics can help create sustainable economic growth by eliminating practices that damage the environment and natural resources, such as the use of fossil fuels and industrial waste that are not well managed. Apart from that, sharia economics also promotes the concept of balance in economic transactions, which can help prevent economic inequality and unequal wealth in society.
